The Communauté d’Agglomération Argenteuil-Bezons, the Val d’Oise territory gate, claims its ambition: to become the new service sector business park in the West suburb. 12 minutes away from Paris La Défense with the future T2 Tram line in Bezons, and the same time from Argenteuil station to Paris Saint-Lazare. The new agglomeration aims at a good quality of life and a good environment to work, to live, and to settle in with the all family !

The Communauté d’Agglomération Argenteuil-Bezons was born the 1st January 2006. Since then, this agglomeration has seen its ambition growing and has got an economic custom-built program. The territory has always had a strong industrial sector, especially in Mechatronics and in the competitiveness clusters like ASTech and Sysem@tic. The agglomeration wants to become the new welcoming place which permits development. The mutation is well-started…

From the north of Argenteuil to the extreme south of Bezons

The River Ouest Building, 65000m2, is the symbol of an economic renewal: it shows that a new offices area has been built in Bezons, in the extension of the River Seine, which is called “Les Bords de Seine”. In spring 2009, EMC2 Documentum, a famous company in informatics, council and engineering, is the first one to settle down in this area.

River Ouest Building is a symbol of the economic mutation of the territory and of its opening to the service sector, but the Communauté d’Argenteuil-Bezons’ projects are more than that: the new agglomeration plans the renovation of the all territory. To encourage the companies to settle down in the area, the business parks already existing have a “refurbishment work” policy : carbon fiber wiring, improvement of the public roads, and improvement of the public transport services.

Among the projects :

• In the Argenteuil station area, which is specialized in the first place in the industry market (Chemistry, perfumery, measuring device making), a 90 000 m2 service sector pole is under active consideration.

• Close to River Ouest, on the side of Bezons, it is planned to build 3 new blocks of offices in an area of 67 000m2.

« In the agglomeration of Argenteuil-Bezons, there are space, opportunities, and passionate people about their territory development », says the president of the agglomeration and the mayor of Argenteuil, Philippe DOUCET.

« With the diversification of the industrial activities and the opening toward service sector, the territory mutation is now insured » says the 1st vice-president of the agglomeration and the mayor of Bezons, Dominique LESPARRE.

An urban space for the real estate projects.

Economy is in the middle of councilors projects in order to offer a good place to live in and to work in. The diversity of urban functions is the key word of these real estate projects, which are launched in a territory with a well-rooted soul and culture. In the years to come, both the Bords de Seine and Argenteuil station areas will be renovated : accommodations, stores and hotels, the opening of new places for families (nursery, leisure centers, schools…), of sport or cultural equipments, and the redevelopment of public spaces (markets, squares, green areas…).

To present the territory stakes, the Communauté d’Agglomération d’Argenteuil-Bezons will be at the MIPIM, international estate exhibition in Cannes, Pavillon Croisette, from the 16th to the 19th March 2010. Philippe Doucet, the president of the agglomeration will be at the opening of the stand the 17th of March.
